Season 24
Our first rehearsal is August 25, 2026.
Rehearsals are at Tim’s Music (6818 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608) on Tuesdays from 7:00-9:30pm.
The first season concert is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 2:30pm. It will be at CSU Sacramento, Capistrano Hall. Stay tuned for more information!
Open Chairs
We have several openings for the upcoming season beginning in August 2026.
Bassoon – 1 chair
Clarinet – 2 chairs
Percussion – 2 chairs
String Bass – 1 chair

Membership is determined by interview and/or audition with the Music & Artistic Director, Personnel Manager, and Section Lead.
SSW is an all volunteer adult community concert band / wind ensemble based in the greater Sacramento area.
