Anne Katz is a math instructor at California State University Sacramento. She completed a music major at Stanford University and spent a short time at Eastman School of Music before continuing math studies at Rochester Institute of Technology and much later at CSUS. Her husband David is a tuba player in Sacramento Symphonic Winds and they play together in Festival Brass, a brass quintet.
